Ms. Black is a welcome addition to the Bloch & Chapleau litigation team. She enjoys and is comfortable in the courtroom arguing cases effectively for her clients. Ms. Black handles a diverse array of cases, including divorces, child custody matters, child support and maintenance disputes, asset and property division, ski injury cases, auto collisions, dog bite cases, real estate disputes, probate, and breach of contract cases. Ms. Black is a strong advocate for her clients. She has a keen understanding of the factual and legal issues involving her clients’ cases and thoroughly prepares each case to obtain a successful resolution.

Ms. Black is a member of the Colorado and Denver Bar Associations, and is admitted to practice before all Colorado state courts. She earned a B.A. in Italian Language and Literature and a B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from the University at Buffalo in 2017. Ms. Black graduated college summa cum laude and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She received a J.D. from the University of Colorado Law School in 2021, and was admitted to the Colorado Bar that year.

While in law school, Ms. Black clerked at the Boulder District Attorney’s Office, worked as a student attorney with CU’s Sustainable Community Development Clinic, and worked for a corporate/business law firm in Denver. She therefore brings a wide breadth of legal training to her current practice.

Ms. Black joined Bloch & Chapleau as an Associate Attorney in 2021. When she isn’t zealously advocating for her clients, she enjoys skiing, biking, yoga, and reading science fiction.
